Ladakh Highlights with Nubra & Pangong
Day 1 Arrival at Leh
Arriving in Leh, embrace Ladakh's beauty through small welcome and brefing.

Acclimatization is vital for adjusting to higher altitudes, ensuring a smooth journey. Rest and hydration are key, while exploring leisurely aids adaptation.

Let your body acclimate naturally for an enriching Ladakh experience.

In evening we head towards Leh Market, which is one of the three beautiful Mall Roads in the Himalayan region. The day concludes with fun and shopping in this vibrant market.

Day 2 Travel to Nubra Valley from Khardungla Pass
Early in the morning, we depart towards Nubra Valley. On the way, we pass through the highest pass of Ladakh - Khardungla (18,380 ft). Afterward, we visit the Diskit Monastery, where the 100-ft tall Maitreya Buddha Statue is the center of attraction.

From there, we finally reach Nubra and visit the Hunder Sand Dunes, a unique place where we get to see desert, trees, river, and mountains all at one location.

Here, we experience a desert safari on special breed of Double Humped Camels.. As the day ends, we revel in the beauty of a star-studded sky.
Day 3 The Journey towards Pangong Lake begins
Depart from Hunder and visit Pangong Lake, a beautiful turquoise lake with the most scenic beauty you would ever witness.

This lake is a famous destination for many Bollywood movies.

Witness the mesmerising color changes of the lake, as the sun's light plays upon it. Enjoy a night stay at Pangong, surrounded by the serene beauty of this natural wonder.
Day 4 Return towards Leh through Chang La Pass
Depart for Leh. On the way, we visit Chang La Pass and Thiksey Monastery, followed by the famous Hemis Monastery and Shey Palace.

Finally, we reach Leh and spend the night there, preparing ourselves for the upcoming final phase of the High Passes Adventure Journey.

Tip: Get your bike serviced before the trip & carry spare parts like clutch cables, tubes, and brake pads.

Yes! Inner Line Permit (ILP) is required for: Nubra Valley, Pangong Lake, Turtuk & Tso Moriri Where to get it? Apply online at the Leh DC website or get it from the Tourist Office in Leh.

Not ideal for first-time bikers! You’ll ride on steep passes, river crossings, and gravel roads. Off-road experience is recommended before attempting Ladakh’s extreme routes. If you’re a beginner, start with Manali to Leh before taking on Nubra & Pangong.

Ladakh is at high altitude (11,500+ ft), and AMS is common. Acclimatize for at least 2 days in Leh before heading to Nubra or Pangong. Stay hydrated, eat light, and avoid alcohol. Carry Diamox (after doctor’s advice) if prone to AMS. Don’t rush your itinerary. Altitude sickness can hit even the fittest travelers!

Fuel stations are limited! Leh has multiple petrol pumps. Diskit (Nubra Valley) has one fuel station, but it's not always reliable. Carry extra fuel in jerry cans for Pangong & beyond.
